CTS tubular screw conveyors
A CTS, Tubular screw conveyor, is a volumetric conveying machine that is designed to discharge materials or products at a predetermined flow rate from inlet to discharge spout. Normally, bulk materials are put into the inlet through by gravity discharge from a silo or a hopper.
Screw conveyors can be configured in a horizontal, or inclined arrangement. The simplicity of the screw conveyor design, the economic cost, and the fact that it is a dust free system, allows it to be used in many different applications. They are supplied in standard sizes from Ø114 to Ø457 mm with direct drive unit using SCUTTI standard RM gearboxes ratio available 140, 200, 240 rpm.
The CTS conveyors are generally cement screws used in batching plant but on demand are available low ratio, long life seals, anti-wear flight and special manufacturing for abrasive or hot materials.
